Baobab fan Gail Maytham tells us the following story: "At the beginning of August we were lucky enough to be in Gonarezhou Game reserve in Zimbabwe. We took Belgian friends of ours and Suong, the lady friend, is a chef but had never cooked on a fire before. So she had fun trying out recipes using the fire! On our last day she decided to whip up some banana fritters and asked if I had any jam to add to the batter – well I did – Baobab Jam!! She'd never heard of that either but it made an excellent addition to the flavour of the fritters! I never knew you could add jam to a batter!!" Well nor did we! Thanks for the tip Gail!
